WORKSHOP SESSIONS
Workshop sessions held as part of the sustainable materials programming prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic with the Hale County High School have served to provide area students an overview of past, current and future textiles and design. Emerging technologies for textiles projects include pulp options and sustainable materials, new fabrics and new machines like 3D printers. Donations are welcome for funding sought to host future classroom activities, and to purchase new technology like 3D printers (additive manufacturing), CNC machines (subtractive manufacturing), advanced computerized sewing machines, and research based exploration on textile equipment.
